By accessing and using Voiceclone ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Service Description
Voiceclone is an AI-powered voice cloning platform that allows users to create synthetic voices based on audio samples. The service uses artificial intelligence technology to generate voice models and produce speech synthesis.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Lawful Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not use the Service to:
- Create content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate others without explicit consent
- Create misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Violate intellectual property rights
3.2 Content Ownership
You must own or have proper authorization for all audio content you upload to the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Prohibited Uses & Compliance Requirements
Zero Tolerance Policy: Voiceclone has a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful use of our technology.
4.1 Strictly Prohibited Activities
- Identity Fraud & Impersonation: Creating fake voices of individuals without explicit consent, impersonating public figures, politicians, or celebrities
- Financial Fraud: Voice cloning for scams, social engineering attacks, false testimonials, or fraudulent investment schemes
- Deepfake Content: Creating malicious deepfake audio content intended to deceive or manipulate
- Harassment & Threats: Generating threatening, harassing, or intimidating content
- Non-consensual Content: Creating audio content of individuals without their explicit written consent
- Election Interference: Creating false political content or attempting to influence elections through deceptive audio
- Misinformation: Generating content that spreads false information or conspiracy theories
- Criminal Activities: Using the service for any illegal activities under applicable law
- Platform Abuse: Circumventing security measures, reverse engineering, or violating rate limits
4.2 Consent & Authorization Requirements
- Written consent required for all voice cloning activities
- Consent must be obtained before uploading any voice samples
- Consent documentation must be maintained and provided upon request
- Consent can be revoked at any time, requiring immediate cessation of use
- Special consent requirements apply for minors and public figures
4.3 Content Moderation & Monitoring
To ensure compliance, we implement:
- Automated content analysis and filtering systems
- Manual review of flagged content and high-risk users
- Regular audits of user-generated content
- AI-powered detection of potentially harmful content
- User behavior monitoring and suspicious activity detection
5. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Audio files and generated content may be processed and stored on our servers for the purpose of providing the Service. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Service IP
The Service, including its technology, algorithms, and software, is owned by Voiceclone and protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 User Content
You retain ownership of your original audio content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
6.3 Generated Content
You own the generated voice content created through the Service, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.
7. Payment and Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Users purchase credits to access voice generation features.
- All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
- Credits are non-refundable except as required by law
- Prices and credit packages may change with notice
- Unused credits do not expire unless specified otherwise
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
9. Enforcement & Termination
9.1 Violation Response
Upon detection or report of violations, we may take immediate action including:
- Immediate suspension of account access
- Removal of violating content
- Permanent account termination for serious violations
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities when required
- Cooperation with legal investigations
9.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Repeated policy violations
- Failure to complete required verification processes
- Use of the service for illegal activities
9.3 Appeals Process
Users may appeal account suspensions or terminations by contacting our support team with detailed explanations and evidence. Appeals are reviewed within 48 hours.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voiceclone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Voiceclone is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
